The Federal Aviation Administration requires you to: |

 |
- be at least 16 years old to solo an aircraft (you can start training at any age).
- be at least 17 years old to apply for a private pilot license.
- pass a routine medical exam. Allowances may be made for many physical limitations.
- have the ability to read, speak, and understand English.

- Students must be able to prove citizenship. US citizens are required to provide proof of citizenship by a birth certificate with photo ID or valid US Passport. This documentation must be provided prior to the first flight.
- International students must complete a Transportation Security Administration background check. Please check with the school for details.

Hub City Aviation requires you to:
|
- Complete our application for admission.
- Sign our rental/student agreement.
- Provide a photo ID.
- Provide a valid credit card.
